Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I went to see the Houdini experience again last night with some family.
Second viewing and I kind of worked out how most tricks were done.
There was a few slip ups and u could see people hiding !
Was quite funny when the man came up to help with the straight jacket and broke it !
And thank god they have changed the roller skating trio act a little bit. ( the Part where one woman had the other on her neck when the kept falling )
Acrobats still were amazing.

Not the right usage of the word in Dutch, but you made me crack up! If you want to tell him the Dutch equivalent for "hot" you should say he is a "lekker ding"jojojoanne wrote:....Hans is 'heet'!!!

Full sentence would be "Jij bent een lekker ding", don't forget to roll your "r"!

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I went to see this twice already, and I think I enjoyed the best on the second time! Maybe because I've given up on trying to understand the tricks, and decided to enjoy instead

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
at the last show, where we were so close to the stage, i did see the stage hands in the wings, which was a bit off-putting, but realise they have to be there .. i also saw his 'double' that he uses for one of his illusions .. i dont think it would've been so obvious a few seats back ... but it didn't spoil it at all for me (im slightly obsessed wiv ol' Hans!! in my eyes, he can do no wrong!!!)

He is quite amazing indeed! I also realized his double in a couple of tricks, but I must admit anything else was spotless... How does he do the thing with the lamp?!?
