Introduce Yourself...
Re: Introduce Yourself...
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, hope we're all well! To introduce myself, I am Nate, a 21 year old student from Cardiff.
Recently a very nice gentleman introduced me to this site whilst I was waiting with my partner for the beginning of the imitation game to begin it's preview, seemed quite amazing to be able to see movies before they had came out, I thought the only was for that to happen; you had to have directors as friends.
The imitation game was very good by the way, Benedict played the part phenomenally.
Anyway, I go to the cinema at least 4 times a week and spend most of my life watching films.. Some would say I'm sad but personally I think it's okay to get lost in a good movie.
Not sure how to end this and what else I can say...
Have a good day!
Nate.

Re: Introduce Yourself...
Hi there, my name is Martin and I am new here. Please let me know if any of my posts inadvertently break any forum rules. All opinions expressed are entirely mine, but typically shaped by those of others, specifically one other - Mark Kermode. I find it hard to argue against his opinion and given that I have limited time to attend the cinema, I use his reviews as a benchmark as to whether or not to see a film. One day I will find the ability to think for myself again!

Re: Introduce Yourself...
Hi, all!
New on here, but have been lucky enough to get tickets for films, shows, etc over the last couple of years from SFF and other free ticket companies. I enjoy the cinema, theatre and gigs and it's always an added bonus to get a wee freebie. I've also been lucky winning gig tickets in competitions.
My best day of freebies came courtesy of the Beeb, SFF , a ticket comp and Eventbrite, when I was able to attend 6 free events in one day!
