I wonder if there's a way to reset the free films board so that everyone has to resubscribe?

I wondered if there was an auto way of telling people when they subscribe they need to post and contribute otherwise their accounts will definitely lapse/deactivate and a timescale/requirement level? I know it's free films but, nothing in life is totally free.....

I know it's free films but I think we should have a membership fee ( like £1 a year) hopefully that would put off a bunch of people that don't appreciate what they're getting.

Then we could put the money raised towards aybg's costs for the webspace, beate for her time and the rest towards prizes or go to a nominated charity.

Yeah, they get a welcome email. I'll have to check what exactly it says.

Those show total failure of the notification system and solutions. We have a partial problem which is more likely to be associated with the email provider than any performance of the board software.

There is a support toolkit for phpBB which is designed to clear caches and other issues to allow users solve these sort of issues.

I agree, even 50p. The hassle is enough to get rid of most of the squatters!
