I don't like wasting money on food I've pa*d for either, so I like to eat out with skinny friends (the kind who inhale food and magically stay in shape). Whenever I don't finish something, they do - and I don't feel bad, because they don't get fat from it. I'd obviously never sabotage someone's diet, but there has to be an advantage of having so many thin friends! :)

Doesn't have to be pizza - just somewhere you can go for a nice meal and not feel sick afterwards. I'll have a look at Prezzo, thanks for suggestion. :)

Hope you feel better soon Biggins, it's rubbish being ill. :(

Hope you soon feel better from me too Biggins especially as you are going away. Have a nice rest while you are there.
asamaic for a casual meal Nando's isn't too bad - I tend to have about a 900 calorie max meal when I go out as if you stick to 300 calories for lunch and the same for breakfast you can still trim down on 1500 calories a day. Also depends on how many meals out you're having and its difficult if at someone else's house. My killer week is from the 10th until 16th December 6 meals out in 7 days 8O the other weeks I have chance to redeem myself slightly in between the meals out. :cross:

Now Diane - MrG manages to run to and from Central London cinemas -- admittedly not in a dress and no motorways involved -- so think you might put in the effort especially on the 5 mile restaurant possibility! On the other hand, I've seen you recently and after your incredibly successful weight loss, I think you are fully entitled to indulge during that week and not give it a second thought!

All this talk of meals out and running back and forth has given me an idea re OH's weight, which is the kind I am watching - with alarm. Partners are never invited to his work events but he has suggested that I give him a lift to his on Friday evening, as he is coming home to change first. Not my idea of fun to miss out on the "do" and to spend my free time crawling along in the dark, in rush-hour traffic, but now I've had a brainwave, thanks to recent posters: I shall suggest that OH runs here and back instead, sparing me the trip and affording him such much-needed exercise. I'm sure he'll be very grateful to you all for this inspiration!

All this talk of big nights out and eating reminds me of one of these "Fun" emails one of my friends sent me which said: -

I just had a call from a Charity asking me to donate some of my clothes to the starving people throughout the world....
I told them to get lost. Anybody who fits into my clothes isn't starving.

Brilliant o/

A very long day ahead 8 until 6 work and then onto a meeting and a lecture until 9ish; I enjoy them all so it isn't that bad really.

Branflakes and strawberries (300 calories) - I know they don't go but a don't waste food.
Butternut squash cup a soup and a bread roll followed by a weight watchers fromage frais (400 calories)
Ham salad sandwich followed by 2 clementines (400 calories)

Good luck everyone else today and I hope that you are having a nice break Biggins. Ejwrank you are brilliant with your running suggestions :bwl:
