Hope Beate is more comfortable at home and they have got to the bottom of her eye problem. And she must NOT spend too long on the computer (no matter how enticing it is) and should rest and take care of herself. Believe it or not FMUK and work responsibilities can wait!

I am in bossy mother mode but having visited Beate twice in hospital it really is important that she doesn't push herself too much and spends time recovering completely.

Beate is leaving hospital at 1pm today - her taxi is booked for then.

Let's hope she will take the time to convalesce in the comfort of her own home, and don't do too much just yet.

I'm so angry,

some bloke tried to push me off the tube! tube was packed so waited for people to get off. Just as I was getting on some woman decided to get off and this man pushed me cos I wasn't quick enough get off again and make room! There was a gap between the tube and the platform so I was being careful but he wasn't having it. Big slanging match ensued and at the next platform as I was getting off to make some room, he pushed me again as he got off and said he hoped I'd break a leg.
:tears:
I hope the bastard rots in hell.
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Indeed, I've never had anything like that before. He was a office type so not even some sort of yob. rotten pig. I never normally et on packed tubes but at they were running 10 min gaps between trains I had no choice. Good old London Underground and their ' good service on all lines'
