Itinerary for the tourists so if anyone wants to join us throughout the day you would be more than welcome. You will need an Art Pass http://www.artfund.org/telegraph to get into Kensington Palace and to The Cartoon museum for free but you need to apply asap as it can take up to 10 days to arrive so that everything we will be doing (apart from the tube and meet up (if you're eating) will be free). Plus if anyone is shy it might be less daunting doing a bit of site seeing before rather than meeting 60 new people all at once. So far its me, akh43, steve, Betty Botter, Yogi and OH, Andrews, Jordsmum, The Fox, rawr_xoxo, Jeanelle ans asamaic (she mentioned she was getting an art pass so hopefully she will be joining us
)
9ish everyone arrives in London. The Fox and Andrews arrive at St Pancreas/Kings Cross at 9:09 and 9:15 the rest of us will arrive at Euston at about 9 except for Jordsmum who will be there at the crack of dawn.
Take the Victoria line to Oxford Circus (This is so the Kings Cross girls can take the same tube) and then get the Central Line to Queensway where we can all wait for each other at about 9.45am then stroll through Hyde Park to reach Kensington Palace for 10am opening time.
10- 11am Kensington Palace
11-11.15ish get the Central line to St Paul's and have a look in St Dunstans chapel within St Pauls(its free and thanks to Jeanelle for the heads up as we don't really want to be spending a fortune on entrance fees)
12noon until 3pm meet up with fellow FMUKers and socialise.
Yager Bar
2-3 Old Change Court,
Peters Hill, St. Paul's,
London, EC4M 8EN
3pm take the Central line to Tottenham Court Road to have a mooch around http://www.cartoonmuseum.org/ (free with the art pass - Betty Botter's suggestion) before having a visit to Hummingbird bakery http://hummingbirdbakery.com/our-bakeries/soho/ to collect cakes (possibly eat them there as well) to take home (a very wise suggestion from Andrews) and then go for a spot of retail therapy around Covent Garden before heading back home. I know that a few of you are getting trains just after 6pm so tried to finish the day not too far away from Euston.
I will check before I get there re tube problems etc.
