Damn, if only I consulted Andrews when I went up there for my half marathon last September! All I did was shop (oh and run) but its great town full of historical heritage plus Tyne Bridge was spectacular and while I was running there was some great scenery but I didnt know what the hell I was looking at and where I was..sorry for this useless info

I'm thinking of getting it but not sure if I should get a three-day or four-day deal. Seven is way out of my budget.
Also - four nights mean, I'd get there Friday and leave Tuesday morning, right? So my flights would be Friday from London and Tuesday back to London, right?

wow thanks June, great link! Lol That's completely put me off although I was planning to use this trip for Feb 2012 when I had hoped these things would resolve.There has also been an increase in reports of other violent attacks, including some shootings, and of car jacking in Casablanca.
This reminds me, I'm going to cancel my Italy trip this year and arrange it for Olympics 2012. No f**king way I'm going to be subject to one less lane on the A12 and A13 for the dumb Olympics. I definitely have to be abroad.

Oh no, I just checked the dates and it's end of July/beginning of August. That is one time next year that I cannot go. I have to be in the UK under all accounts. *cries*
