Lol, I assume you mean the torch :-p
No, no, no, the Olympic touch, it's like when Jesus touched people to heal them only this time it's Boris Johnson (don't know what his touch will do to you though - any guesses?)

It's going to be great! Anyone else from FMUK with tickets for the Opening Ceremony?
You won tickets? Wow, that's awesome! The only downside for some people is that I just read it finished at 00.30 8O Add to that at least a good half hour to get to the station, how will people get home? Not everyone can walk to their home/hotel as it's very far nor do they all have a car.

The marketing and bullshite attached to it is cripplingly depressing for something so pure in its Classical origins, and it gets worse with each next Games.
I was and am still a bit sceptical about all this... but you can't help and not be excited.
I mean, it’s the freaking Olympics!!!

There will be travel disruptions as no city will ever be able to cope with the millions of visitors that are expected. It’s about how you manage those visitors… and I think things are going to be ok… just take it easy and enjoy it.

True, all the marketing and corporate horse manure is rather cringe-worthy, but it’s the sign of the times really.

I dread to think what would happen if Boris touched you. However if he did it would need the following as the theme tune, heck this should have been the olympics theme tune! 80's power rock;

I wish these were a prize... I managed to b*y them during this season of LOCOG releasing some new tickets out - but at a premium of £300. As a proud Londoner, this is how much I was willing to put forward to be able to say "I was there!". I hope I won't be disappointed and it is worth... I am really excited about this, but indeed I agree with you C_T that our nightmare will be afterwards - coming back from Stratford to South West will be a huge pain! Hopefully I'll be still savouring the show in my mind and won't mind the journey back :p!

:)! I wish I could take you, but I guess the Mrs. wouldn't be very happy to know about that :p... This was a lot of effort refresing LOCOG's ticket page; in the end it pa*d off :)
