I'm sure a book / comedy sketch could be written about all our combined cinema experiences!

Lol :) I always enjoy free previews more than pa*d films. Not only cos of the main reason (they're free!), but people have made the effort to book the tickets online through sites like this, & they go to the cinema because they want to actually watch the film. Whenever I go to pa*d films, people are eating loudly, phone lights on, late to arrive, etc etc.

Happens just as much with previews!

Btw, I have figured out why there seem to be more phone disturbances at the Vue Islington as opposed to, say, the Odeon Greenwich. There aren't any less at the Odeon presumably but you can't see them because the backs of the seats are so high! At the Vue Islington the incline is so steep, you can see everything that goes on in another row, however low they hold their phone.

Here's a new one on me: people that think it's ok to drape their coats over the chair in front of them which you are going to sit in, then have the nerve to complain at you when you sit down on their coat!

I sometimes do that at scheduled films when it won't get busy, in the hope of stopping a tall person sitting in front of me. I do remove it if someone needs to sit there though.

Am I the only person who challenges those who drape their legs over the seat in front of them?
It's not only that it shakes the row of seats but I don't want some dirty pair of trainers lolling over my left shoulder.
It seems to be happening more and more often. Yet other people seem to put up with it without saying a word.
