Hope you are feeling better Mr Glass - rotten time of year to be ill.

Should have had Mr Glass with me nagging in my ear while I was away for Xmas - put 2lbs on this past week with all the cooked breakfasts, three course meals etc. Weather was wet and cold so no incentive to go out much for a walk except when we were in Hexham for the day.

Hope you all had a great time at xmas - having a quiet time now and will try to be good this week and get down the scales again before going away on the 6th of January for two weeks holiday. :cross:

I have put on 3lbs with all the festivities 8O through being a greedy guts and lazy hence now 10st 2lbs and my New Year Resolution is to stay under 10st. Did a 4 mile walk on Saturday but devoured a load of Maltesers and did my DVD yesterday. I have got used to my new shape now and can see that a few more pounds off would look a bit better hence my new target is 9stone 10lb. I want to do it slowly as then I can tone up as I'm going along, my birthday is mid February so that can be my goal date.

Me too. When I get back to London, I'm going to do something about it.

I suspect I'm going to have to give up takeaway though. :( Which is a pain given the long hours I work, but it's either go without or grow to the size of a whale and I'm not sure I'm ready for a life at sea.

Hi guys can i come back :tears:

I've not been too bad over the festival period but still lots to lose.

I don't have any scales (too depressing) but i have a pair of jeans a little tight to aim for in two weeks (just tried them on)

I'm walking Charlie (14 week old Cocker Spaniel Puppy)

Happy new year everyone! Thought I'd let you know there are free booklets with the Telegraph this weekend - "how to get fit in 28 days".
