There is lots of swearing and scenes that they may be find disturbing.

Is it a good show though, despite the swearing?

Is it that bad? They are advertising to schools!
Well I don't think it's appropriate to advertise this to schools since it is not family show in the same vein as shows like Wizard of Oz, Shrek, Matilda etc.

Oh shoot I just noticed that Zach Braff wasn't playing this afternoon... This + the rain make me hesitate.... Life is so difficult sometimes, isn't it.

That's why it's called an "understudy run"...

For what it's worth, I enjoyed the play and that wasn't because of Zach Braff. Nothing against him, but it was the characters I was more interested in that the actors portraying them (though Zach and Eve were the incentive for me to see it in the first place).

I didn't see the "understudy", I just saw the "free" :shifty:
Now it's rain + no promise I'll have a ticket that will have a decisive influence on my decision. (even though with this weather I'm sure I'd have a ticket quite easily)

Seeing it's the understudy run and most people are at school/work during the matinee show as well, I don't think it's to hard getting a ticket (unless you show up 1 minute before it starts).

I don't think this will be ticketed at all, it will probably just be a case of the doors opening and then find a seat. I don't think it will be a problem to get in.

Thanks, my sister will babysit this time as it sounds a bit too much, though I don't think kids should only be restricted to the family shows such as you mention, I saw Blood Brothers with school when I was 10, it was the first theatre show other than panto's I had seen and Ican still remember now how much I loved it and how I had tears in my eyes at the end, I also read on here last week someone had taken their 11 year to The Kings Speech and that they had really enjoyed that too. The family shows are fantastic, so looking forward to seeing Matilda but kids don't always need everything sugar coated.
