Weightwatchers were very quick off the mark - I received a letter inviting me to re-join and lose weight in the New Year - on 27th December! 8O

I have been eating and drinking round the clock, but I've been on the go so much, I've only put on one pound, so am feeling very pleased with myself.

Tomato soup and dry toast for lunch, with a clementine.
Plaice and vegetables for tea.

Clear blue skies - quite unusual here in Durham - so may get out for a walk.

Just weighing in here for 2013 -- bad pun -- please forgive. I know that I'm not an advert for all you stalwart Weight Watchers as I am the one always advocating cake and other naughty things but I do enjoy reading all your contributions and hearing your success stories (and the occasional lapses which I can identify with), so sending you all best wishes for a very happy and healthy New Year.

I'm back again after my last attempts ended in disaster,

So today, I've had Pink Apple and Cinnaomon Granola, with skimmed milk. 1 sachet of frothy coffee. 2 yellow peppers and 3 radishes.

Lunch is Diet Chef chicken Fricassee.

Cereal this morning and cup of tea. Took a sandwich and bottle of water with me to the cinema so had lunch there. Chicken and vegetables tonight - and the leftover sherry trifle!!!

Too many goodies still lurking in the cupboard which has to be used before going away on Sunday night for two weeks of eating and drinking. But I will be swimming more and walking around more so hopefully that will compensate for some of it. :cross:

Looks like we are all on a roll now and loving our healthy choices (I really like Biggins sherry trifle though :noo: ), its good to see us all motivating each other. Allsinging I remember the picture of you MrG had of you in your tight jeans, me going going to get a figure like Charlotte Church and him getting the body that Kate Winslett would love :giggle: - its been fun on here with ejwrank encouraging us on our treat days. Andrews that is brilliant with just the 1lb weight gain mine was a whopping 3lb 8O

Menu of the day:
Fruit and fibre (300 calories)
Bagel and cup a soup followed by a shape yoghurt (380 calories)
Weight watchers piri piri chicken (324 calories) followed by 2 clementines (40 calories)

It will be a rest day as going to watch Gangster Squad.

Keep posting and have a fun day o/

Made a mistake last night by trying on my jeans without waiting the two weeks i said i would only a couple of days ago..not sure what i was thinking but no surprises they don't look any different..sulked with a few slices (or 5) of Chocolate Orange but that's fine, next time wait 2 weeks!

This morning lesson learnt and Chocolate orange finished off by the children

Weetabix, 4 Clementines (during the day)
Lunch Prawn chow mean (home made)
Tea something with Veg (not yet sure what)

Have a good day everyone o/

Weighed myself this morning before going for a swim (outdoor pool closed at the moment so used the indoor pool instead).

Delighted to say have lost the 2lbs I put on while away for Xmas :D :D so - even with the sherry trifle  - not eating too many sandwiches and walking and swimming have done the trick. So now back to where I started before Xmas but I know no matter how much I put on while away for the next two weeks I can redeem myself by cutting back on the carbs when I get home.

Menu today : Porridge and tea for breakfast, homemade soup for lunch and a yoghurt. Tonight beef casserole with veg and two small potatoes.

Starting on the washing and ironing and packing for Sunday which will probably take me a while so no time for a walk this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone.
