The King's speech did have a run already off West End and it originally was a play anyway, I guess they were a little too optimistic. Maybe if they got some bigger names it might have run on for longer.

Oh that's cool! Shame that if it ever comes to London it'll be in the O2 I always find that Live Shows there don't quite work as the arena is just too big to feel a part of the performances

Tonight, I went to The Udderbelly on the South Bank and saw The Vocal Orchestra. What a thoroughly enjoyable hour! The line-up are so talented and lively, you can't help but enjoy yourself! It's not just 'beatboxing', they sing too. If you go though, wrap up warm ... it's colder inside than it is out, for some reason!!! And it's a show for all ages .. my kids had other plans, but I know they would've enjoyed it.

We arrived at just after 6.30pm to find a small queue gathering at the ticket collection door, this queue steadily grew but at 6.50pm the door still hadn't opened so I remembered C_T saying something about collecting tickets from inside the cafe so I sent my mum in to find out if that was possible or when the door would be open, well she returned rather flustered saying you better get in there, there are some other people asking about tickets and they are being told SFF have no allocation for tonight and they will not be giving out tickets.

So I went in and a very flustered angry theatre person was really not very happy at the sight of the SFF printouts and said that they had allocated tickets for last night and tomorrow but never for tonight, SFF tickets said 7.30pm but tonight show was 8.15pm. He would of just turned us all away but somebody else looked up the tickets and said we do have some tickets available we could give those, so we were told we had to wait in the cafe probably till 8.15pm when they would have a few tickets but not enough for everyone. In reality we only waited 5-10 minutes and a lady came down and started exchanging tickets, there was quite a big pile I don't know if everyone got in, I hope so. Theatre man was really jumping up and down though saying they will not be working with SFF any more, but I will add people continued to be polite to him.

As for the show itself the script was a bit lacking, the music carried it through, if you like Tina Turner you should enjoy it, my mum & my friend thought it was absolutely fantastic, I wouldn't go quite that far, would have liked a little more acting telling the story properly inbetween the songs. By the end most in the theatre were on there feet dancing and there were a lot of people really throwing themselves into it.

Thanks a lot raineylb.

In the past I have found the HE to be the most friendly of all theatres.
