Had high expectations for this as I saw the trailer and thought it looks great and it didn't disappoint.

To tell you the truth I thought it was going to be laugh a minute with constant jokes but it it is actually quite a heart-warming film about changing/new friendships and how you pick yourself up from the disappointments in life.

I thought it was well cast in the main, although I did feel that the British actors didn't suit the roles and let an otherwise strong side down - Matt Lucas and the woman who played his sister should have been a lot funnier than they were.

Melissa McCarthy was totally surprising as Megan. I've seen her in various shows like Gilmore Girls, Samantha Who and Mike and Molly and she often plays the loveable jolly friend really well. This was the first time when I've seen her a different kind of role and she was great.

I'd recommend - 8/10.

Oh and I just wanted to say - I also saw this at Cineworld Shaftesbury Avenue (Trocadero) and they were very tight on the ID checks. They also checked people's bags. I would say that you should avoid this cinema if you don't have ID matching the name on the tickets / or a change of name email. It never used to be a big issue there but I've been subject to ID checks the last 3/4 times I have been there - all in the last 18 months. I think they are regularly enforcing this policy now. Would hate to see people disappointed.

I'd be interested to know if anyone did manage to blag it in on someone else's tickets but I saw people being turned away.

Saw it this morning.
I laughed a hell of a lot. I love Kristen Wiig, and she finally had a role that proved all of her worth in one fell swoop. Sure some elements felt off, it was a bit long and some parts were more skits than well set-up comedy, but it worked on it's own elements. It's clear that there are SNL elements all over Wiig's writing.
Loved it though, hurt myself laughing. 9/10

Just saw this at the special preview/TV pilot at Cineworld Fulham!
We were greeted by the TV show staff with croissants and bubbly and the feature started at 11.30am. I found the film watchable, funny at time; I found the cop really cute, but that's it really...
6.5/10 only for me!

I did not stay for the show recording as I had to rush back to wrk, but if someone stayed, please tell us how it was!

Saw this film this morning at fulham cineworld. Really enjoyed it! It took me a while to get into it, but had some real laugh out loud moments.

It was interesting to watch the pilot show of "film first show" - sorry to moan though but my only gripe was that the cinema should have put the air con on ... I thought I was gonna pass out by the time we left the screen!

Hoping to see Bridesmaids again in a few weeks. Definitely recommend it!

I loved this film - laughed alot, the characters were well developed and interesting.(except Matt Lucas character not as funny as usual).

Packed cinema at Boldon Cineworld on 31st May, a proper movie to see with the girls even the gross bits were hilarious....a must see this summer.

9.5/10

I hated this. I thought it was basically a female Hangover though a little better, but it was crude, unromantic and boring. I thought most of the characters where extremely unlikeable. The maid of honour looked like Felicity Huffman which really distracted me. I kept thinking Tom Scavo must be about somewhere!

I also hated all the chavs around me who chatted throughout, texted, laughed at everything and constantly cracked some cans open! I couldn't wait to get out of there.

Mixed feelings about thismovie - it had moments of genuine comedy and was very funny. But thought there was too much sexual content/based jokes which was a bit crude. Also thought it was a bit too long. But overall was an enjoyable/easy movie to watch. 8/10.
