Sleeping Beauty
Re: Sleeping Beauty
@SoonForgotten: Were you the dude sitting in the front row or second to last row at 'Sleeping Beauty'? I'm judging this purely by your photo of EB and JL. Were you the one whom the usher asked to take it easy with the flash?

Re: Sleeping Beauty
I didn't use flash at all. Myself and the guy behind me were told not to take any photos. But yeah, I was in that area.jramjee wrote:@SoonForgotten: Were you the dude sitting in the front row or second to last row at 'Sleeping Beauty'? I'm judging this purely by your photo of EB and JL. 102 Different free films seen in 2010 plus 2 repeat viewings and a few tv show screenings... not too shabby. Thanks to everyone for their contributions here.

Re: Sleeping Beauty
Hate when people use flash during the Q&A's. It must get very annoying and distracting for the people talking!

Re: Sleeping Beauty
Clearly my lip-reading skills leave a lot to be desired. I assumed the usher was referring specifically to flash-photography because the lady in front of me still continued snapping away long after (albeit without a flash) and nobody told her a thing. In any case, nice to finally be able to put a face to the name of at least 1 FMUKersoonforgotten wrote:I didn't use flash at all. Myself and the guy behind me were told not to take any photos. Re: Sleeping Beauty
Saw this tonight at the May Fair, where it was nice to have the company of prettyxcool and ejwrank.
Goody bags were available with PHYTO 7 Hydrating day cream for dry hair(!) and two different books by Julia Leigh. These should be interesting to read judging by her film!
Oh yes, the film. Well I actually thought that there was an interesting concept in there somewhere, but I'm not sure that Julia Leigh had any real idea what to do with it. I can't remember a film where I've had so little idea of the motivations of so many of the characters. It's clearly meant to be one of those films that asks questions without providing much in the way of answers. However it would be nice to have rather more idea of what the questions were supposed to be.

Re: Sleeping Beauty
I missed a goody bag? And books?
Re: Sleeping Beauty
Yes - two books in the goody bag plus the hair product. Do bear in mind that the books were written by the same person that wrote and directed this film though!Beate wrote:I missed a goody bag? And books?

And you too, prettyxcool.... I didn't know you're going.
I didn't go because I didn't want to be the only one there!
