Help: What's the best horror film?
Re: Help: What's the best horror film?
There isn't a best horror film, but I would say <The Skeleton Key>, <The Uninvited>, <Descent>.... are pretty good.

Dumplings will be forever imbedded in my mind...but for my money, his most horrifying work was the episode of Masters of Horror he did. I can stomach pretty much anything but when it comes to nail torture...Jayman wrote:
It's an absolutely unnerving story brought to life by Takashi Miike. If you're a true movie buff, you'll recognize the name. He did Ichi the Killer, hands down one of the most violent and gruesome movies ever produced. Audition isn't nearly as violent but instead focuses on generating the same effect via intense imagery, grating sound effects and downright terrifying performances. If you want a solid scare that'll linger for months on end, definitely check out this movie.

I agree with the Takashi Mike comment and I would defo recommend Audition and also Darkness Falls (2003) I remember finding it really scary at the time but I coudl have been having a momentbadcoverversion wrote:Dumplings will be forever imbedded in my mind...but for my money, his most horrifying work was the episode of Masters of Horror he did.
