Re: Olympus has Fallen
Went to a presser tonight, thinking it'd just be a load of old codswallop. And it was, but in the good way. Such a silly silly film, was giggling quite often, and my goodness the CGI. Just the right level of awful. 7/10

I didn't pick any of the options as I thought it was a very childish comment.raj101 wrote:my apologies, please pick a different option.steve wrote:You can only justify watching this if -
1. you are drunk and/or treat it as a complete satire to be laughed at all the way through (none of which humour is intended by the movie btw).
2. you are happy to watch a very stupid movie so that you can enjoy the few loud, decent action sequences.
3. you are stupid.
To call people who like a film you don't "stupid", is really stupid!

1. watching it seriously sober to soak up the accurate facts it portrays on America's heroic war on evil Korea
2. you didn't come for the fun action sequences at all, you just want to focus on the intelligent political stuff above.
3. You are very intelligent.

I'd rather continue being completely civil.
This being a movie review thread, it would be great to hear what you enjoyed about Olympus Has Fallen, but bear in mind that you have by your own admission discluded options 1. watching it as an unintentional satire and 2. enjoying it just for the action sequences.

I think Beate probably said the "pack it now" in a Gererd Butler side of mouth kind of way. Time to all calm down

It must be frustrating for a_person and sydney_Bristow having to delete or move the threads to competitions. I feel for them.
