I managed to get 2 tickets for this for Tuesday. Then I noticed that it's linked to The Mail on Sunday which you're supposed to take with you. Of course I didn't get a copy nor can I blag one from someone else. Does anyone know whether these type of newspaper/magazine screenings are strict about entry? I don't want to arrive on Tuesday and get turned away although so far no cinema has been strict about tickets, but I guess there's always a first time!

I doubt it very much and I'm sure a SFF code will later be released for this.

They did the same for "Princess & the Frog" back in January where you apparently needed the paper. An SFF code came out a few days prior to the screening so in effect it wasn't necessary as those who got the paper could claim it was from the SFF code not the Mail. I went to Princess & the Frog and more than half didn't have the paper cutting yet nobody was stopped. This was a busy London screening too.

Your print out doesnt mention whose code you used or any other information so you should be okay. Just say it was a special invite from SFF. Unless SFF people are at the entrance taking your tickets (which they won't be), the ushers won't know any better.

I emailed SFF and they said:
Thank you for confirming that you will be attending the Marie Claire preview of Date Night on Tuesday 19th April.

Your existing ticket will be fine for access to this screening. If for any reason you do not still have your ticket please let me know your full name, email address and which location you had a ticket for, so that I can resend.

Regards
So, the original ticket should still be valid on the new date, but I have still requested a new ticket with the correct date etc on to prevent any probs on the day.
Preferred cinemas: All Central London: APOLLO Piccadilly, EMPIRE Leicester Sq; ODEONS: Leicester Sq/Covent Garden/West End/Whiteleys/Panton St; VUE: West End/Fulham/Islington, CINEWORLD: Haymarket/Shaftesbury Ave; Brixton Ritzy,
Then: Westfield, o2, Clapham
