The Girl Who Played With Fire is nowhere near as good a film as The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. I thought it was OK but it would be hard pushed anyway to compete with the first film.

I was't sure whether to post this in comps or not as it's a bit convoluted. It involves hunting for books to find a code to be able to put it into a website with prizes which might include screenings. To top it off can't get the bookcrossing link to work, unless it's not live yet.

To celebrate the August 27th release of The Girl Who Played With Fire, Momentum Pictures are offering a unique opportunity to fans in Bristol, London, Oxford, Nottingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cambridge, Newcastle, Dublin, Liverpool, Sheffield and Manchester to take part in a nationwide search for ‘The Girl’ and win amazing prizes!

The Girl Who Played With Fire, the second film in the critically acclaimed millennium trilogy, releases in cinemas nationwide on August 27th – but ‘The Girl’ could already be hiding out in your city!

Concept: 60 copies of The Girl Who Played With Fire have been hidden in 12 key cities around the UK and Eire. The books contain special codes allowing those who find them to unlock a variety of fantastic prizes from private screenings to cinema tickets and exclusive film merchandise.

I dunno you could test it out...from what I understand you find the book, look inside it for a code and them email metro with it to find out your prize.

well the prizes aren't strictly screenings  (but there might be some)

Also I'm finding the the bookcrossings site a pain with the way it's listed books, especially if they're going to add more for more locations and each listing looks the same until you go in to each one, I was thinking if people posted location and clue here so that they're easier to see. That sort of thing might be disrupting if posted in comps if anyone is subscribed.

Thats my question, if it was only 1 prize I don't think I would go, I doubt I would be the 1st one there (esp after my experience last time with the Inception comp) but if it was for some general free tickets (say maybe at least 10) I would go, because I could probably be the first 10.
