We set out to create a world that feels completely real to the audience, yet is also deeply comic." Sure, planes explode every day, and car chases happen especially when you are the only person left alive in a car spiralling out of control. I had that just the other day, complete with a lunatic hanging off the roof!
:giggle: Isn't it annoying when that happens? It happened to me too, but the guy on my roof was telling me to unlock my door!! Bloody cheek!! :giggle:

I was the second person in the queue at the Empire and whilst waiting noticed that a lot of people behind me had what looked like proper tickets, not the SFF printouts, but I had been told by the staff that the queue was for the Knight and Day screening. However, when they started letting us in, the staff was not sure about our printout and gave it to a lady - presumably the person organising the press screening - who just took it, didn't even look at it and said that it was ok and let us in.

Well after a tedious and frustrating day in the office, I welcomed this film. Yes, it was totally predictable and unrealistic, but I enjoyed it, as it was lighthearted, fun and easy to watch, although the trailer made it looked better than it was.

7/10 from me.

Great news.
Admittedly my opinion of Knight and Day probably wasn't helped by the fact that I'd been to see Inception again a couple of hours earlier.
The best thing I can say about this movie is that it's a decent buffer between Inception and Toy Story 3. I'm very much ready for another fantastic film now, so Sunday should do the trick.

Watched Knight & Day at the Empire, Leicester Square.

Sat down near the back of the cinema....which turned out to be a good place to watch movies in that cinema screen.

I was in a very silly mood, meaning the film fit my needs perfectly. It was just silly fun. Yes the plot was a little weak and I did keep wondering why Diaz never asked a lot of questions about what was going on and simply followed him but I didn't care! It was funny in a 'That is so ridiculously cheesy' kind of way.

7/10 for the silly factor!

hey jpeg -what a shame we missed each other, we could have been silly together! :p beate and I were in the back row, and I agree it turns out to be a good place too with such a big screen.

Oh was that what it was? I saw a HUGE queue walking back to the tube station after the film, spanning half the square!
Hi /beate, I had to go ask someone as I'm rather nosey :shifty: So there was the massive queue going round the square and a few smaller ones queuing at the box office windows.
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Right, from what I've read above... can I deduce that if I found Inception too difficult for my brain cells to manage, ie I had to concentrate, does that mean I would like Knight and Day :)?

No it just means you won't have to think during the movie.

Unless it's about how bad and pointless it is.
