Not as funny as "East is East", but still enjoyable and worth watching. Great acting and quite touching.

I really enjoyed yesterday evenings preview of West is West at Feltham, Cineworld. Thanks to the group and it was a lovely film. There were few hilarious moments. But I think, East is East still has a golden edge over the sequel.

Most disappointed that Jimi Mistry was only in it for a minute :( However the film itself was not as I expected, less a comedy and more a comedy drama. I was interested in the wive's story more than the boys story. 7/10

Finally watched this last night..... not what i was expecting at all ..... there was a much more serious element to this although it was mixed in with quite a few funny moments. I think the sequel may be aimed more at the older generation of british pakistani's who migrated here in the 60's & 70's etc ... than the original.... defo worth a watch though i still enjoyed it .....7/10
