I've just come back from seeing Deolinda at the Union Chapel. The venue is amazing and the concert was very good. The lyrics of Deolinda's songs are so funny.
Many thanks again to Celini for the tickets.

Re: Free Theatre/Concert Tickets Discussion Thread
I should really try and go out to a free o2 concert, lord knows I wont get many current opportunities to go to the o2... but I just cant summon the enthusiasm for ..."New Kids on the Block" (lol). Like, they were the nadir of boybands of the 90s, boybands of the 90s being a serious nadir already if you get me. So going out for a nadir of a nadir is simply loopy. I just about turn up to Kate Perry because she might be crap but she puts on a real show, but this is whaaay below that.
Its even on at the local cinema at a cheaper rate than the travelcard cost, in a way.
Just cant do it. Anyone else feel the same way? Should I go? mmm.

Saw Vocal Orchestra and Kings Speech last week thanks to this forum.
Both were great nights out - highly recommended. Looks like tickets available for both again.
I was in 2 minds about Kings Speech - loved the film but it did seem too soon. But I'm really glad I went. It was brilliantly acted - the equal of the film - better in some ways.
The staging was imagininative and there were several aspects better developed than the movie.
Vocal orchestra - very different but equally enjoyable. Not just musically clever but funny as well. A very polished show from an amazingly talented group.

Does anyone know the running time for The King's Speech? It's not stated on the theatre website.
And does anyone have ticket for the performance on May 3rd afternoon they want to exchange with Wednesday evening?...
