Yes, well done, and what a good idea to let the audience choose the next film. Real participation and engagement. Good luck to you all and the scheme.

Arghhhhh! Recently I've been having this swelling problem (allergic reaction to something which neither Doctors nor I can identify what's causing it :S) and I keep swelling up! On my last day at work, I went to work with swollen lips - I thought that was the last of it... Except it's back again today and my lip has swelled up!!!! Arghhhhh! Supposed to be going out and seeing "ahem ahem" - clearly that won't be happening today! :( :( :( Why do these things always happen to me?!!

Thanks Diane65, :bighug: from the time I wrote the message, it blew up even more that I could see my lips just looking down! :noo:

Had to go A&E and they gave me some steroids which made the swelling go down which was good as I had work today!!!

Well for a start we had fantastic weather. Really sunny. The first 4 nights we stayed in a beautiful B&B in Hallant near Lewes with two gorgeous dogs, great room, scrumptious breakfast. Went to a lot of gardens, castles and NT manor houses, and even down to Beachy Head one day. For the remainder we stayed in the annexe of a cottage near Chichester, cheaper but not as beautiful. Did the same again, went to Portsmouth one day (absolutely fabulous, Historic Dockyard, Spinnaker Tower and Portchester castle with credit crunch menu pub nearby). Had to call the AA once (it's an old car) but someone had given us a free parking ticket so we went to Arundel Castle first (had conveniently broken down in their car park) and were fixed up within half an hour after calling the AA, with the parking ticket only overrunning by 4 minutes, LOL. I can recommend Sheffield Park Garden (simply stunning) and High Beeches Garden near Haywards Heath, Arundel, Herstmonceux and Bodiam Castles, Drusilla's Park (a small zoo) and all National Trust properties for their food, if for nothing else. Honestly, if I lived near one I would just go there for my daily lunch!
Also, before you go anywhere, check whether it's covered by Tesco's Day Out Vouchers, we managed to p*y the zoo and the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth with them!

And we have a new bathroom now, the Landlord used our time away to put it in! It's great but not finished in all details yet (mirror, bathroom cabinet) and they managed to put a think layer of dust all over the flat!

And funnily enough I did not miss the Internet as much as I thought. if I had a laptop I could have connected to wireless connection in the B&B, but we watched a lot of Sky TV instead. (never knew there were that many obscure channels!) Managed to watch a bit of North and South which brought back memories!) We even went to a car boot sale.
