What Did You Watch Last Night?

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
The Switch, on a rental DVD, since I never did get to see it on its cinematic release last summer. Just the thing for a grey, damp February evening and exactly what I want from the service. Now I'm wondering why I can't think of anything else in which I've seen Jason Bateman but when I check I shall probably find I've simply forgotten.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Had a night in front of the TV last night and watched the latest episode of Outcast, not sure about this series, I had high expectations at the start but I'm finding it hard to stay interested now.
Looking forward to seeing the new animated film RIO, I hope free preview tickets will be released for this and that I'm quick enough off the mark to get them.

I watched the finale of Episodes. This series had its moments but overall not as funny as it could have been. The ending was rather predictable but hopefully will get another series!

Episodes? What channel was that on? I like comedy but I can't recall ever seeing this one, I'm wondering what I have been missing nowfunthing29 wrote:I watched the finale of Episodes. New so called comedy started on BBC called Mrs Brown's Boy's, I could only watch five minutes of this as it was painfully bad! Perhaps it will improve later on in the series but I don't imagine that I will be tuning in to find out.

It was on BBC2.

It is a comedy about how a British TV show becomes Americanised. Looks like the whole series is available on iPlayer so you can do a catch up!

I love Tamsin Greig but you are right, this wasn't as funny as it could have been. Still watched it all though. Nice to see Matt LeBlanc making fun of himself.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
Buried!
I originally had tickets for the preview but gave them away because I was not expecting much!
big regrets as most of the critics were actually good! I finally got around top see it (DVD) and was very surprised! I liked it and could not anticipate the ending!!!
Tonight I watched Harry Brown (on FMUker's recommendation
)... liked the movie very much (reminded me of La Haine) and Michael Caine is excellent!

Glad you watched and enjoyed the film, gruesome but acted extremely well...perhaps too well that it was quite unnervingCelini wrote:Buried!

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I watched the Real Kings Speech, it was so brilliant and to actual listen to Lionel Logue's patients about his teaching techniques was inspirational. No wonder the film got such fabulous reviews as it captured every aspect of George V1 life.
