I am very excited, I won it at the end of September and had 6 months to take it, so April was the very latest we could go, hoping the weather may have started to warm up a bit by then. It includes the accommodation, bed & breakfast, flights, but no transfers to/from the airport in Alicante - is anyone familiar with area and know what the best options are? The hotel does a luxury car service but it costs a bomb!

Was just trying to book a flight with Germanwings when I noticed they have put their charges up and seats in the emergency exit aisle now cost Euro 20 regular or Euro 10 with a Best fare package where seat reservation is usually included. I hate p*ying inflated charges but I also want my legroom - what would you do?

i'm desperate for a holiday, not had one since 2007 i'll have to try doing more competitions by the looks of it! have a great time!
and Beate.. if you need the room then I'd p*y for it. if it's a short flight then don't unless you're going to be really uncomfortable. I know what you mean about hate p*ying inflated prices but everything seems to be inflated these days!
