Wow, you walked up in 3 hours?!?! Awesome I defineitely took longer than that a few years ago...hmm, you've now set me a challenge to beat your time, miss fit girl and an excuse to visit Wales again this time with my telescope :) Brilliant stuff, that's more than a marathon worth of achievement you just done there, deserves a medal, walking up and down that mountain aint easy. Well done r_x! o/ o/ o/ Rewarding when you reach the top, huh?
Allsinging wrote:Hi guys, seems like I've been lurking too :D

My lovely Cocker spaniel Charslton or Charlie for short who is now 5 months old has decided that he won't go for a wee in the garden (lovely boy that he is) but it means my timings are mixed up.

Its 6am rise (quick brush of the teeth) and take him straight out (cap firmly fixed on head..pleased it dark) back at 6.45am get the children up school run with Charlie in the car so we can have a lovely walk in the forest after. By the time i get back its time to do some work. Half term this week so a bit more relaxed.

My eating has been okish but I'm walking a lot more so i feel like its balanced out a bit :shifty:

Anyway after reading what i have missed i'm going to try that bit harder and start a food diary so i realise what i'm eating.

Lovely to see TheyCallMeMrGlass ..have we told you lately that you are fab!!
Woo, nice to see you back too, Allsinging! Havent forgotten your Race for Life walk/jog and past achievement of exceeding your target, you were a brilliant model and still are I bet ;) Now that you have been enjoying wearing those drainpipe jeans (yeah I remembered ;) ), what are you are you targetting now?

With Tiffany all the way!

I Know not everyone knows about her but hopefully that Video will be self explanaory :D
I'm getting to know about Tiffany now and the fact you are doing her moves means YOU ROCK!! o/ o/
biggins wrote:Didn't lose any weight this week. Ate too many carbs as I was working full time this week and had sandwiches for lunch every day and didn't take care of what I ate at night as couldn't be bothered. :noo: Still trying to lose the pounds I put back on over Xmas and the two weeks holiday abroad. But I am determined to get back on track!!! Porridge for breakfast this morning and homemade soup for lunch. Sirloin steak and roasted vegetables tonight with two crackers and cheese to follow washed down with a glass of red medicine!!!! :D

Going into town this morning as I have some shopping to do so will have a good walk round the shops while I am there.

Have a good weekend everyone. o/
DOnt worry about the number of pounds you lose. Its immaterial, as far as I can tell you are on the right track...roast veggies, alright! I've not been hearing that word often enough, so thats brilliant. Porridge, homemade soup...Biggins, you got nothing to worry about, Yep too much carbs will counter your efforts but YOU KNOW IT! If you say you are going to lose the surplus fat, than you are going to do it :)

However, I have got myself a pedometer, and am walking around trying to achieve the 10,000 steps that are required to keep fit. That's a lot of steps I have not done it yet. Even a 4 hour shopping trip to the MetroCentre didn't notch up the desired amount! I will persevere, and will be a much slimmer andrews when I go to London in April. o/
Like the pedometer, Andrews o/ o/ Helps to guage yourself and your fitness levels. I measure myself to with a heart rate monitor. And keeps a record of my fitness levels. When I dont record them, and I have been lazy in doing so a few times, including lately when I have been quite busy, its noticeable that my fitness levels dive becasue I am not keeping myself in check. So great stuff Andrews, you reminding me how important it is to guage the work you do. o/ o/

Done my Tracey Anderson DVD so set up for the day, for some reason my legs and back weren't as stretchy as usual - possibly because I did it as soon as I got out of bed

Menu of the day:
McVities breakfast biscuits and a shape yoghurt as was ravenous after my exercise - I normally eat first but it was timing.
I will probably have the same for lunch which isn't really a good idea but easier to eat as I'm going to Lancaster to re look around the university as DD has been offered a conditional place hence revisiting a few of them plus my friend lives there hence going out for dinner
https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j ... 3238,d.bGE I always choose from the school dinner menu as they are not too large so plenty of space left for a pudding (if the truth be known the main courses are substantial enough without the pudding but it will keep me sustained for my drive home (its only an hour on the M6 but any excuse will do ;) ))- if anyone gets the chance to go the food is wonderful and 2 courses for £7 including a drink plus there is an eclectic range of people who go in which I just love.
So Diane, you know that you are officially our supermodel of this group right? yeah you are :) It also means I can get a little harder on you because I know your potential and so now your focus should be on adapting to the healthiest meals as possible, fat loss achieved long time ago, improve fitness and long term health. There's just one word I'm not hearing in your vocab enough...you know what it is dont ya ;) Yeah, veggies! McVities breakfast biscuits...what is that!? ;) Dont foget about covering all the nutritional elements that we need to build our immunity towards illnesses, having healthy skin, looking even younger, and having a longer QUALITY life. Veggies do that, veggies are the secret fountain of youth that everyone has desired and been right under our noses all the time! Fruits also have the same nutritional values but eat those in moderation because as you know fruits have sugar where veggies dont and have similar nutritional values. I know you know all this but it helps to remind ourselves of this, besides others are probably reading my post too, hence I say it to you again ;) But hey DIane, well done for sustaining a great fitness lifestyle thus far...you supermodel :) o/ o/ o/ Just let me hear some veggies in your post ;)

Everyone, its not all about losing weight. That's easy. You must complement your diet with variety of vegetables. Have different colours of vegetables, there is so much variety out there, you are spoilt for choice so you neednt get bored with same set, mix it up every day. That ensures a complete range in required nutritional vitamins, minerals, anti oxidants and fibre. BE HEALTHY, dont just try lose weight :)

Well done everyone. Its great to see you all making such brilliant progress on your health and fitness journey o/ o/ o/

:giggle: That's to the first part - I always have visions of Elle McPherson when people say supermodel (anyone at the meet up is going to be gutted when they see what I really look like  ) As for vegetables what can I say but I have drifted away from them a tad and as for the nutritional benefits of my breakfast biscuits well  (Biggins has already pulled me up on this one :nono: ) - still trying to think of something  Thanks for the gentle reminder (nagging but essential) plus I need to start drinking water instead of black coffee for the entire day (half is decaf but that's still dire)

Good luck everyone else o/ I did do 2 Tiffany workouts yesterday before my Indian takeaway :shifty:

I went for a really long walk in South Shields yesterday - it was a fresh day, shall we say? Anyway, catching up with my friend's news and chatter was fun and I walked 12836 paces, according to the pedometer! o/
I know I won't be able to achieve this everyday, but I'll keep trying to build it up, little by little.

And I've lost the few pounds I put on over Christmas and New Year, so here we go again..... it's Monday, after all.

Still down and out, turns out is was a rather bad throat infection not just the flu so no exercise since last Tuesday although I did go into work Wednesday and Thursday, got some antibiotics on Thursday after b*ying good throat lozenges and not putting a dent in the pain. Not the most romantic Valentines although I did get flowers sent to my work from my husband. Still feeling as weak as a kitten and obviously I haven't been eating much or what I have been eating wasn't the best. So fingers croseed I start to feel better soon and can manage a bikini abs workout soon.
Andrews- I love the pedometer idea!
Rawr- Well done on your massive hike!
Greece-glad to see you're back shaking your thing!!
Diane and Biggins keep up the good work!!!
And Mr G I feel motivated, just no energy to do anything!
Have a great day everyone x

So sorry to hear that you are feeling so rubbish and don't even think about doing a bikini abs workout as the only workout you should be doing is one that involves cotton wincyette pyjamas ie resting!!

Well done aruif that is fabulous o/

Morning everyone, well done on all your hard work and hope you get better soon Moggers

Thank you Mr G for reminding me to eat more veg and its not just about losing weight..i can get a little tunnel vision at times and not see the bigger picture.

On talking about healthy skin i was told a beauty secret..when you have washed your face or cleansed rinse your face and neck in clean warm water (not Hot or cold it shocks the skin) about a dozen times and then apply serum /moisturiser to wet skin..the rule is never to dry your face.

I've been doing this for a couple of months now and i have to say my face is clearer and brighter and i haven't got a spot on my face..i never really had many but even the little lumps you can get are gone...worth adding to our healthy regime ...also works great on elbows and knee caps :D

Happy Birthday Dianne, have a lovely lovely day o/

Keep up the good work everyone! You are all so inspiring!

I managed to walk 11567 steps yesterday, most of which can be attributed to not parking in the Hospital car park when I went to see my friend, but parking at another car park about a mile away and walking! Now should I leave my car at home and walk two miles to the shops? (Maybe not)

As it is now Lent, I have given up cake, chocolate, sweets and any sort of crisps or snacks. Doing well, haven't eaten any of these - and I'm not going to. :D
