Just been out for a Lebanese meal and ended up with a bowl of spicy spinach for my main meal  I'm sure that there was meant to be to it than just that hence now eating Belvita biscuits as too hungry to sleep :noo: I've never eaten Lebanese food before but will certainly not be choosing a vegetable option next time. Seeing everybody's weights I declare that at 62.5kg I'm the heaviest on this thread

I do like Lebanese food but it can be a bit confusing. Diane I'm a good 10kg heavier than you but working to get down to 62. Went to the gym again today, not sure the 1000 calorie thing is doing anything as I haven't lost anything in the last 4 days meh

Oh no you are not!!! Not telling mine although I still stick to the old stones and pounds which doesn't sound as heavy as 62.5kg it damn well is far heavier. No weight lose again this week - too many meals out and not enough walking. :noo:

I too stick to pounds and stones really I had to google the conversions as I hadn't a clue. I too have had far too many meals out this week, worked too many hours hence only just got in from work since 8am this morning and I'm ravenous - I could just go a Snickers but as I've given up chocolate it won't be happening so maybe peanut butter on toast as need protein quickly.

Happy Womans Day! May your dreams collide with your reality, you have the power to be who you want to be. This is a day to celebrate, the woman you are everyday. So shake your hips, pout your lips, do 5 things at once, because when it comes to being Fit, Fierce and Fabulous you know how to get it done!

And what about the body fat percentage, Diane? ;) Go easy on the peanut butter, its very nutritious, has indeed got a good dose of protein and GOOD fats. But take in moderation. ALso dont ever get the "low fat" version, get the proper version. The low fat version strips off the nutrition. Same with white bread, white rice, white suger....they have all been stripped of their nutritional goodness.

Guys and gals, how much we weigh is not a fair measurement when comparing with each other. We all have different bone mass, different heights and some of us may have more muscle mass which is heavier than fat. In fact I suspect some of you have built muscle mass for those of you doing resistance exercises :) You can only guage your own progress, no point in comparing with others. However, if you feel competitive, then what you guys should be comparing is body fat percentage ;) That is the most important measurement, not your weight. You want to get your BODY FAT % down to healthy levels. Its possible to be the perceived perfect weight (there is actually no such thing) but are far from healthy with too much internal fat clogging up arteries etc. Weight does not indicate health but BODY FAT percentage does or at least it gives a far better indication.

Now when we are overweight, the most convenient gauge is measuring weight and it is a sufficient gauge to begin with BUT it is also important to know your body fat percentage and I advice you to also guage yourself with that measure every fortnight. The simplest tool to use is the tape measurement and plug it into a body fat % formula then compare every fortnight. Dont weigh/measure yourself every day, otherwise you will stress out big time! Our body weight and shape fluctuates through the day, its pointless to measure daily. So only measure weight/body fat once a week, in fact two weeks is best. Also when you do, always pick a consistent time of day and stick to it, for example, morning just before breakfast (I personally think that is the best time).

Happy WOMEN'S DAY! No idea there was such a day but you all deserve it for all the hard work and multitasking that you do, not to mention the fantastic healthy driven society you've built on this thread! o/ o/ o/

So when is men's day ? :shifty:
