Hi all. I'm based in deepest, darkest Scotland. Looking forward to free screenings in Edinburgh.

Hi I'm Katie!
Always been in to films but I dip in and out of it. I recently started Uni in Edinburgh to study Art History and since I am in the walking distance of various cinemas, I want to start going regularly again. My favourite film is Goodfellas, it's the soundtrack that really does it for me. Looking forward to getting more involved here!

Just reintroducing myself since I changed username. I'm Katie, an Art History Student studying at the University of Edinburgh.

I've always loved films but I do dip in and out of it. Since I am now living in the centre of a city, I am within walking distance of various cinemas so I want to take advantage of that!

I think it'd also be good for my degree.

My favourite film (has been for about 3 years) is Goodfellas. It's the music that does it for me.

Looking forward to discussing, watching and learning more about films :)

Hello, I'm Rachel. I love going to the cinema to watch films first and foremost for the immersive nature of the experience; as the Vue taglines proclaim, it provides a (much-needed) way of 'switching off' from the outside world. My favourite kinds of films are anything psychological / thought provoking - not exactly a term that can be affiliated with any one genre I know, but an accurate description of my preferences! I like dark films and dark humour but also have a 'soft spot' for a good old rom-com/drama/animation. The only genre I'm not particularly keen on per se is action - there's rarely enough plot to keep me occupied. I''m glad to have joined FMUK and to (hopefully) have the opportunity to see more films, more often and look forward to being part of this community :)
