Hm. I appreciate the heads up, but I don't know if I should watch it on a TV or not. Youtube has ruined the effect of a few horror movies for me already

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
totally. i mean, its even worth seeing it specifically at the cinema on a big screen.weirdfilms33 wrote:Hm. I appreciate the heads up, but I don't know if I should watch it on a TV or not. Youtube has ruined the effect of a few horror movies for me already
Some colleges and unis have screening rooms that you can book (here at my uni we use it to run our own little film club esp for thunderhot movies like this on our big screen wth massive speakers). so theres hopefully an oportunity for you to see it BIG in the future (lol yeah alway pick a higher education establishmen with a proper screening room).

Re: What Did You Watch Last Night?
I watched the last in the series of Shameless, not as dramatic and 'edge of your seat' as the normal end of season episode but funny all the same. I think the series as a whole seems to be a bit like marmite, my friends either love it or hate it, I love it!
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

I watched Thin Lizzy in concert, which we had recorded. Some great songs, and fabulous guitar playing.andre wrote:so.., any body watched anything interesting last night or the night before? only seen one film so far, i am number 4 and it was an ok film, not super great but ok.

Donnie Darko for the second time. Still hypnotic, confusing, psychologically terrifying, but disturbingly beautiful. I love it but it makes me cry every time.

Event Horizon didn't frighten me at all. My O/H (at the time) and I found it quite boring and we saw it at the cinema.weirdfilms33 wrote:I would love to see Event Horizon. Even my uncle, who's tough as nails, closed his eyes during most of it. Mind you, he did see it in the cinema.Mesa7719 wrote:I watched Land of the Lost with Will Ferrell and Anna Friel..... some bits were funny but other than that, thought a bit poor. Recorded Event Horizon too, now got to pluck up the courage to watch it!!!

Once Upon a Time in the West. Although a different beast to Leone's "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" it's wonderfully shot with some fantastic acting.
