Been for 2 walks the last 2 evenings and will be going for another tonight and possibly the exercise DVD too. The meat free diet is so easy to do and as I still have 2 falafel to eat I will be repeating Tuesday's menu today hence loads of free time in the evening and only working an hour late tonight which is good

I'm impressed with your will power Moggers and I love the bounty recipe John Milton, I will give that a go but will have to share it. I know that akh43 like myself is partial to a bounty.

Re: Weight Watchers
I've been stuck this week, weighed in on sunday and done a few sneaky weigh ins ( I know, I shouldn't) but gaining the same pound and losing it again is frustrating!! Only 3 weeks until my holiday to lose 1.5 kg aaaaahhhhhhhrrghhhhh!!!
No exercise today as DD has drama presentation this afternoon. Swimming tomorrow! What a difference a bit of sunshine makes

Re: Weight Watchers
Maintenance is good but frustrating, it maybe worth doing the meat free week like I did as it does cleanse the system, these vegetable meals last forever so hardly need to get any food this week as stocked up plus a heck of a lot cheaper than meat. I must admit it was nice to have chicken again last night. I went to bed far too late last night so haven't done my exercise DVD yet but will do it sometime today, its much easier doing it before anyone else gets up. We both have the same amount we want to lose so we can do it togethermoggers wrote:I've been stuck this week, weighed in on sunday and done a few sneaky weigh ins ( I know, I shouldn't) but gaining the same pound and losing it again is frustrating!! Menu of the day:
Smoothie with a banana and raspberries. (300 calories)
Hummus with jalapenos (I got them on offer 6 for £2 now on a one woman mission to eat them before they go out of date) and 4 ryvita followed by an apple (350 calories)
Vegetable burger with JohnMiltons relish on a small bun (burger is bigger than the bun but calorie wise it is better) plus a large salad followed by raspberry jelly (500 calories)
Where is everyone else? I know that JohnMilton is worse for wear

Re: Weight Watchers
Hey Diane really sorry about the recipe I will post it sometime this week, I'm actually near your neck of the woods for this whole weekend, here for a friend's wedding and I have absolutely no intention of controlling my eating whatsoever!! With all the salads I've been eating at lunch over the past few weeks I've started to look a bit too skinny which I'm hating as I need to be a bit bulkier, so this weekend is the perfect opportunity for me to pile on the calories and get back to how was looking before! The worst thing is that the low calories have reduced my muscle too which feels like it's such a waste as I train to put on muscle and not the other way round! So time to put all that right nowDiane65 wrote:Maintenance is good but frustrating, it maybe worth doing the meat free week like I did as it does cleanse the system, these vegetable meals last forever so hardly need to get any food this week as stocked up plus a heck of a lot cheaper than meat. :)
By the way I've discovered booking train journeys by staggering the journey in order to save money on this trip and I'm really chuffed about it! Usually a direct return ticket on the days I needed to come would cost over £100 but I've saved a packet just by stopping at Manchester piccadilly for a while and changing onto a different train there, my return leg only costs £25 and that's a last minute too! Awesome

Re: Weight Watchers
Hope you're having fun in the NorthWest and shame you didn't have a bit longer in Manchester as the Manchester crowd are very friendly. I know what you're saying re being too skinny as there is a fine line between looking healthy and going too far.
I'm ashamed to say that I didn't do my DVD yesterday as I started doing my bench first and then once you have got dressed I couldn't be bothered to do it which is a really bad attitude as nothing was stopping me
So got up bright and early this morning and have done my exercise so feel energised for the day ahead. It will be just one coat on my furniture as I have realised that it takes 24 hours to dry completely even though I would like to do 3 coats today.
Menu of the day:
Milkshake with raspberries and a banana (300 calories)
5 beans on toast (250 calories) thanks to akh43 who gave me 5 tins yesterday
An apple (80 calories as large)
Something with peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and sweet potato - No idea what as yet but got loads in that needs to be eaten.
Have a good day everyone and Moggers enjoy your swim

Re: Weight Watchers
Will do! Well over the last week, I've lost wait for it, it's amazing!!!! 100g!!! Go me!!! At least it's a loss lol, I would have cried if it had been a gain.
Sunday is my treat day so roll woth fried egg and potato scone (cooked in a small dribble of olive oil), probably won't have lunch as such as it's dinner at my parents. Will try and do half mile swim but depends on how busy the pool is.

You know it did cross my mind to book a slightly longer stopover at Manchester and meet some of the friendly Manchester fmukers like yourself, but then another thought crossed my mind that if no one is free ( or worse no one shows up ! ) then i would be stuck at the station and be having to pass the time and after a long weekend away thats the last thing anyone would want ! But i know for next time now to book a longer stopover at Manchester as now i know that at least one person will show :)
I did eat a lot over the long weekend and have to admit my body is feeling groggy and unenergetic today, i couldnt even eat breakfast this morning and im struggling eating lunch too as my tummy is just saying NO to food right now. I shall be back at the gym tonight though i know im going to struggle so i will do as much as i can and not have any planned workout. I havent been swimming in a while so i'm planning to do lots of swimming this week. I've been missing my green teas too, so will be drinking plenty of that and i havent been drinking much water too as its mainly been fizzy soft drinks , reading this last bit of this post back to myself makes me sound very groggy right now, but never fear, moviemannn will be back to his normal self very soon !

Re: Weight Watchers
Next time you must make a longer stopover and I can assure you that if we say we will be there we will be. We are all really good friends so much so that Steve and I plus families are all going on holiday together in 3 weeks.
It's amazing how just one weekend of not eating as well as usual makes you feel groggy but glad that you're on the healthy regime again. Just noticed the time need to get back to work

Diane65 what exercise dvd do you use? wouldn't mind doing things in the home but not up to exposing myself in public.
