I had that sort of rummaging in the hospital when they were trying to put the thingy in for my IV. And they had no clue how to take blood. Getting a blood test at my surgery is never a problem, over in 2 seconds and doesn't hurt much, but those nurses at hospital clearly didn't like the softly-softly approach. At all.

When I went for a blood test to find out what I'm allergic too, the lady was telling me off. Firstly it was on a poxy tiny little office and then she had one of those rolley wheely chairs --- err how am I expected to sit still! She dug the needle in so bad, it bled for a while afterwards.

Got home from hospital this morning as they kept me in overnight as I couldn't move my fingers enough for them to be happy with plus feeling so sick couldn't eat anything and as I am diabetic they said they would have to monitor me over night.

Wish I had only one jab!!! Between the injection in the backs of my hands and drips from my arm and the jabs to stop the sickness I feel like a pincushion. Wrist is painful but have got painkillers to take and such a large wired bridge over the wrist that I can hardly get my arm through my tops and certainly not through my jackets. Still to find out how many channels the wires sticking out my wrist can tune into but if I hear music I'll know where it is coming from!! :p

Will not let it stop me going to my free films though - got "Morning Glory" on Monday (only the film - nothing else a_person before your mind goes off at a tangent) ;) and "Rabbit hole" on Tuesday. I missed my holiday so not going to miss free films as well!
