Ahhhh great, I have my appraisal this Monday and my manager wrote publicly where everyone can see mistakes I've made.

I can just imagine how awesome my appraisal is going to be.

That is outrageous! I think your manager is a bully and I would report them to HR. Managers have no right to humliate you, make you cry, or put private appraisal details out in the public domain.

    hugs to you

Thanks Valda. :bighug: He didn't put my name on it but everyone knows it's me because it was my turn to do a certain task this week. Next week's person has made the same mistake but there's no digs at them.

It's not so much him pointing out my mistakes - I'm more than happy to be criticised in my work and learn from it but rather the constant digs that I keep getting.

There's no point reporting to HR as a) it's a large organisation so harder to manage b) managers are ALWAYS supported c) it goes in your own file and if you think about applying for a new job within the organisation, "somehow" the person interviewing comes to know about it d) you can think twice about ever going up... e) everybody in the service knows you complained and you become known as a "trouble-maker" -- I'll have nobody to talk to at work for the rest of my time here.

I'm just praying so hard to get the hell out of here.

Sorry to hear that a_person ! Your manager sounds awful. My Dad's manager is also a &@@&£ and is ageist. My dad hopes he leaves in march as he is getting quite depressed about it.

You need to start writing things down in order to complain as only way you can complain.
