You Once Said Yes was quite good. There's not much you can fault, apart from maybe a lack of large scale scenes/set pieces, but with these productions budget is always an issue. I can't say much as I don't want to spoil the surprise for other people, but the ending was torturously, embarrasingly fun... 8/10

There's a show on at Islington - and one at View. Any guesses as to which one the ticket is valid for?Venue is View, Number 1 Leicester Square.
Join us for our critically acclaimed comedy show at View - this fantastic venue is right in the heart of Leicester Square and enjoys stunning views across London. Soak up the view stretching as far as the London Eye and Big Ben as you chat, drink or dine before the show or at the intervals.

Quite enjoyed '100% London'! Nice to 'meet' my fellow Londoners like this, and even though I'm a well-known misanthropist, the kids in it were pretty damn cute.

Anyone been to see Gatz yet? Love to hear what other people think of it? I've been to some alot of the other things at LIFT 2012, but I just wasn't sure about spending that many hours for Gatz.

A friend of mine saw it and couldn't recommend it more. With large breaks in between acts she said it wasn't all that long after all.

Well done for the review! Saw it last night and would find it very difficult to explain why I found it interesting throughout, but I did. Humorous in places and revealing in others.mrflunchy wrote:Quite enjoyed '100% London'! Also an interesting and unusual Q&A afterwards. Conventional start with questions from the chair to the creator/director and a producer, but also questions to them from both the audience and cast members. Also questions from the audience to the cast and questions to the audience as well.
Interesting that it's a German concept which started in Berlin and to hear some of the differences between Berlin, London and the other cities where it has been made.

Went to see Full Fresh Fat Faces at Udderbelly on a very late evening recently. It was very entertaining in parts, but hardly anyone turned up, which was more surprising when the last standup act decided to end the evening by crowdsurfing into the audience (what an ending!). The auditorium was only 40% full. 7.5/10

I hear You Once Said Yes is going to Manchester next, so check it out when they open there. Tickets shouldn't be too expensive.

Regina Spektor tonight <3
Even though I was p*ying more attention to the audience than to what was going on on stage, I really enjoyed it. I was afraid it would get boring at some point, but I don't know why I had such an idea in mind! Far better in live than in CD!!
I love her, she's sweet, she's gorgeous, she's got a wonderful voice... and her husband was the support band, she's the one who wears the trousers!!

Saw Rock of Ages last night. It was great to see Twinnie-Lee Moore back! There were a number of understudy performances, but they were really rather good. I did miss the voice of Rohan Tickell though.
