Re: Weight Watchers
Cereal with banana this morning. Taking a salmon sandwich and a bottle of water with me to the cinema - using another of my sky/cineworld codes - going with my friend to a lunchtime screening. Chicken salad for tonight.
Gosh Diane you are away more often than me and I am retired. Don't know how you find the time. So you are off to Venice next! Lovely place -have been three times but only for the day when we were staying in Italy. Have you been before?
Berry picking again tomorrow I think as used all the others now. Got a small plastic bag in my handbag in case I come across any in my travels.
Wow, Preston
that is a lot to lose in a week. Need to borrow your bike if it get results like that!!! Well done.
Now will you please change your avatar - hate it and you are nothing like that now with all that weight lost!

Re: Weight Watchers
Holy Moly Preston! The Moyles super diet is clearly working!! Well done!!!
Work today so gym and vibroplate are the exercise today. I haven't lost weight but I haven't gained so that is good news, my water percentage is up according to the scales too.
Crispbread and reduced fat houmous
Weight watchers chicken noodle soup with crispbread for a quick lunch
Massive salad with cold meat, homemade potato wedges and lots of green stuff
That's the 3 main meals sorted but there will be snacks and plenty of water!

Due to eating everyone's cakes no surprise that I haven't lost anything
Lovely meals everyone
Its my first time in Venice Biggins so I'm really excited now plus it will be my last trip for a while as DD will be starting university in 3 weeks hence the money flow will be very different
I knew that I had an 18 month window after the mortgage and before her starting so I went for it

Re: Weight Watchers
You'll love Venice. You simply must take a gondola ride!
Don't feed the pigeons as you can get fined for doing that there. If you are on a tight budget don't sit and have coffee in St Mark's square as it will cost you a fortune for one small coffee!!
I love the atmosphere there and of course the canals - being a Pisces!
Is your daughter staying at home when going to University or moving out to a flat?

Re: Weight Watchers
It is the same as some seaside towns put up notices not to feed the seagulls. Too many of them and making a mess with too much poo, especially on tourists sitting out having expensive coffee!!

Hey come back, I'm not gonna frown, I wanna congratulate you, WELL DONE!!
As long as I know you are eating healthy, covering all the nutritions in your diet, enjoying it and AWARE of being too impatient then I couldnt be more happy for you :) Well done, man, keep it going
Great stuff with the cycling. I am still too scared to cycle on the London roads, I was telling the others at the fmuk picnic how in London, they try to encourage cycling but they just not doing it right. In fact its bloody worse in some cases. See, they create these cycle only paths. Sounds good right? Well, not when its on the bloody pedestrian pavement in nearly the same shade and cycle signs hardly noticeable to pedestrians. So cyclists just end up hitting people down, I've seen it happen a couple times so far, I'm sure they're not isolated incidents. The children especially are not aware. The cycle paths should be on the road side its self, just like in Holland, if they can do it that way, I would cycle again.
Sorry that ended up in a major rant, I shouldnt be doing that here! Right positive vibes
Enjoy Venice Diane! And font forget the veggies, well you did say you need prompting, so I'm prompting ya
Biggins, Moggers, liking your long time discipline with your healthy food logs
DOnt forget to eat all colours of veggies in the week everyone... no beauty cream and aging potions can match the wonders that regular veggie eating can do for your health, looks and skin tones. Veggies and plenty of water is the true fountain of youth. Its not all about losing weight, its about looking vibrant and healthy too. Variety of veggies and water do that for you. Fruits in small moderation because they have sugar, dont forget that.

Re: Weight Watchers
I love curries, but I'm ashamed to say that most of mine tend to be the unhealthy "readymeal" type. That's got to be one of the reasons I've put so much weight on. Do you have a recipe for your homemade one, that you could share with us, Moggers? Hope the dental visit was OK!moggers wrote:I also make a homemade chicken curry
I'm not actually measuring it at the minute, Mr G - but I know that it's there!TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote: You guys are measuring body fat yet...?
2 points:Diane65 wrote: It will be the DVD tonight as off to Venice next weekend and there are a lot of slim people there (just been looking up places to visit when I get there and everybody seems to be super slim)
1. You also are super slim - so you'll fit right in
2. You can't be going away again can you? It simply isn't fair!! ...and to Venice too. I'm so jell - I was only there for a day when I was holidaying in Italy, but I loved it. Biggins is right about the prices around St Marks Square - We found a McDonalds (shameful I know) to eat in, just off the Square and it was still expensive but anywhere decent was astronomical. Of course that was years ago (when my kids were small) - it could be all different now. We did a boat trip (not a gondola - though those did look brill - straight out of the ice-cream ads) up the Grand Canal which was good. You'll have a great time!
Aha, but you've not put anything on despite having even more cake than usual (inc other peoplesDiane65 wrote:Due to eating everyone's cakes no surprise that I haven't lost anything![]()
How's that looking now?biggins wrote:will you please change your avatar
