Re: The Diary Room
Oh bugger - just had the sky engineer out as our signal was really bad. He has just installed a new dish and box which means I have lost all my sky+ recordings.
The whole series of Pride and Prejudice - gone.
Several Bon Jovi recordings - gone.
At least five films - gone.
Really pee'd off about this!

Noooo don't say that, I’m still recovering from the summer holidays and the food bill to feed my three.... it got to the point where when they said 'can I have..' I would interrupt and say 'is it a food related question'? funny how they always knew the answeranakin wrote:Do you know it's apparently 100 days to Christmas. Just thought I would share the horror.
Just love Christmas; its just getting organised this year might take some doing; mind you uncle Ebay might help
Good news everyone I've invented a device that makes you read this in your head in my voice!

I have this trouble every year with 3-for 2 offers on Chocolate Oranges. I only need 2 as gifts, so inevitably I eat the 3rd one, and sometimes something even worse happens...!marjoreemarjora wrote:

Actually, my OH does all the cooking and he sends cards (and some letters) to all his friends and relatives, albeit a bit late. I gave up sending cards about 20 years ago and I have only 2 people to b*y presents for, so Xmas involves minimal effort for me. I recommend it!Beate wrote:You gotta be kidding me, right? To be fair to OH, he'll get it done, but it's at the last minute and there's no thought abotu shopping around for bargains. It's all about Selfridges... He's getting better though and I'm a bit obsessive abouthaving things just so... so I can see myself not letting him do anything... must work on that!
