Well if you can't show an employee you value them then either your management sucks or you're deluding yourself that you value them.

But if you know they are going to fire you and you wanted to leave anyway, why not let them and at least get a redundancy package.

Luckily I am in no way to blame for the government as they don't give me a vote over here...

In my organisation, unless you're full time and have worked for them for at least 25+ years then there's no point getting the redundancy package.

Don't worry Beate, I know you have better taste than the Conservatives! ;)

Played rubbish in the tournement went out early got what I deserved. Then went to the casino, played well, lost a load of cash, thats the way it goes in poker sometimes. May sound perverse but I actually enjoyed the weekend.

Yes I definitely do not feel valued. And now I have just discovered that the guy who I do a job share with on a secondment to a different organisation 2-3 days a week is still at risk and so I guess there is now a danger I'll have to go full time which I expressly do NOT want to do. The secondment is both boring and not furthering my career in the way I want it to go. Another good reason to get the heck out!
Preferred cinemas:
Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH

Tell me about it I've spent the whole morning on my hands and knees cleaning out every cupboard etc in my clinic for infection control. I'm a bit pink now so I hope I don't smell for my afternoon clinic
