But if/when you can escape, it's fabulously sunny outside, at least it is here in the south-east, yet I don't think it was meant to be. Sunshine makes such a difference and January has been very short of it so far. A few days ago a forecaster reported that so far, January had had only 41% of the average sun for the month, so maybe it's trying to catch up at the last minute.

Having just been for a walk I have to say it is bitter in my area but still gloriously sunny. Even if there's more severe weather to come, spring is a month nearer now. And snowdrops are out already...

I couldn't care less how sunny it is today. I am in the office and can't even see the sky.

So was I earlier - we don't even have windows - hence escaping was even more enjoyable. Will it still be daylight when you emerge?

Well not long now before it will be. And the fun bit will soon be over for me as I have to drive to my preview in rush hour traffic, with road works mushrooming - another sure sign of spring on the way!

Have just left job I loved to join new firm tomorrow. My firm has been taken over :( Very lucky to get job in new firm especially as very few jobs around, but horror of horrors not allowed on the internet at work now 8O 8O

So, can people please think of me if any Edinburgh tickets come up in future as much earlier start and so will not get on the pc before work unless I get my act together.

:cross: :cross: New job goes okay, getting bit old to be new kid on the block
