did you click on the owl? it redirects to a "live" Youtube video... ATM it says the announcement will take place in 6 Days 3 Hours and something...
That would be interesting if it just counts down or if the background changes till the "big" announcement!
Oh...where's the owl? I just see a pink screen with Pottermore coming soon and JK's signature.

there is one on the left and one the right of the screen, both sitting on branches... they both redirect to the same YT video ;)

edit: I realised the Pottermore website has probably been updated since you visited it MrG

Ah, had to refresh it, it was cached...I see it now! Thanks. What's interesting is that there are 50 videos on the channel but you cant access them. Google maps and Youtube are doing some abnormally differnet things for this youtube user, think we need Steve to hack into those videos

i can't decide what to do! i want to do the marathon next weekend. i would have done it last night and tonight but didn't realise it was happening. booo.

i think it works out cheaper to do the marathon over 2 nights than it does the odeon one - presuming they are all full price tickets? (will check) and i don't live near a vue that i'm aware of. bahh.

also i've got the kings of leon screening on saturday evening n not sure what time that will finish to know if i'd get to imax in time for it to start next weekend. hmmmm

edit - oh no odeon is £3! bargain! i think i might go down and book them all up next week! o/

I wish JK Rowling would hurry up and write another book. Or at least make an announcement that something's in the works. Either something new or she's got this gigantic universe she's created to explore. Sadly this Pottermore thing doesn't seem to be book related :(

'Pottermore' website to be an online game?

Hmm we'll see. If it is a game, I think I be a bit dissapointed unless its a fully realised world with JK's input that is full of official canon from her HP world background notes. I was kind of hoping it will be an online Encyclopedia with several short stories aka Tolkien's Silmarillion style.
