I arrived at Hatfield Odeon to find they had signs up to queue for Mr Popper's Penguin's & for Zoo Keeper, some people from Paradise Wildlife Park were setting up stands, there was a camera man walking around and then they brought an owl out, my children quickly joined the queue to stroke it, which made their day (infact they queued up about 6 times). The Manager kept popping out to say when we were going to let us in and make sure people were in the right queue, she really is very nice and luckily they let the queue for Mr PP in first.

We were in screen 4 which is actually very small and quickly filled up, but I didn't see anyone getting turned away.

Now for the film, we all really enjoyed it, the basic story was a little like Liar Liar with Jim Carey - workaholic dad, neglects family who are separated, mum is about to leave with someone else, when the Dad learns what's really important in life, they get back together and live happily ever after. There were lots of laugh out loud moments, my son and his friend found some of the penguins antics absolutely hilarious. I am sure this will become one of the kids favourites and will be watched over and over once out on DVD. 8/10

First thing I noticed though was how much Jim Carey has started to age!
Preferred Cinema's now Paignton or Exeter!

Overall a decent film, some cringeworthy moments. However i think its because im not its target audience.
June: San Andreas (7/10), Danny Collins (9/10)

Just back from veiwing at Nuneaton .
Penquins were cute , i am not made on Jim Carey movies but this was not bad at all . I was a bit surprised . 7/10
On the down side was that i thought some of the actors heads looked like they were cut off a bit at the top off the screen , as if the screen should be bigger . The screen was at its maximum size at this Odean veiwng .

Saw this at a packed Bournemouth Odeon and the whole family enjoyed every minute of it. The penguins were great and the actors were not bad too.A great family film to take the kids to over the summer holidays. o/

I'm the same, I can't stand Jim Carrey mugging away, yuk. But I really liked this because of the penguins - you could more or less blank him out as long as the penguins were around

I was at the Odeon in Covent Garden. It was maybe half full and there seemed to be more adults than kids.

I liked it, I don't normally like Jim Carrey, but I thought this was a real feel good sweet film.

We were at Odeon Breahead, it was a lovely film, the penguins were great. DD is 8 so she really loved it. If the man with the 4 children sitting beside us who helped to find the top of my daughters cars cup is a FMUK'er many thanks for being so kind, we had a family with a wee girl beside us who fell asleep bless her.

just back from seeeing this at whiteley with my little nephews and my parents.
was a nice film but have to say after seeing advert knew everything that was gonna happen, it gave away too much and had all the best bits.
but my 4 year old nephew loved it and hasnt stopped talking about the penguins ( he now wants one for his birthday and has told his mum that im getting him one!! lol)
my dad loved it too so think it will appeal to the whole family .
personally i have seen better tho
