I was thinking that too. Love the song, but at least we know all the words now and can sing along!TheyCallMeMrGlass wrote:Full length video of Adele's Skyfall is released. Feels like a vintage bond song harking back to the Shirley Bassey tunes. Love it. Video is spectacularly disappointing though, its just a karaoke!

Re: James Bond: Skyfall
I'm pretty certain that isn't the official video, even though it is on Adele's official YouTube channel.
There are tons of music videos for other songs which utilize almost the exact same format.
They probably just haven't had time to film a proper music video yet, so don't despair ladies & gent

Booked my tickets, Odeon Leicester Square, tuesday the 30th. I'm not going to read a single review anywhere before I see it, not even anything on here: I want it to be a unique and unfettered experience.

Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2012" club. I saw 32, which is rather delightful.. I beat Mr. Glass on free films but he narrowly inched me out on total films seen.
Member number 33 of the "100 free films in 2011" club. I saw 20, interestingly enough. My more realistic target was to see more free films than TheyCallMeMrGlass. I lost.

I don't know... I did like the Heineken advert, I thought it was very clever. Just not sure about it being in the film.

Heard a talk from Dame Stella Rimington yesterday (the character 'M' is based on in the Bond films) at a Security Conference I attended.
She was talking about her time in MI5, the challenges she had to go through being a women in a male dominated environment, cold war, war on terrorism, being a mother, relocating once the government decided to make public who was running the MI5 department. A member of the audience asked how she felt about the 'M' character being modeled on her and she replied "very flattered".
Amazing woman and highly recommend her autobiography 'Open Secret' which was published shortly after 9/11.

Being 'donned' as the best Bond film ever... My mate saw it Monday and said it was awesome. Definitely looking forward to watching this film.

Well after Quantum the franchise really does need a good one or no doubt people will start losing interest and soon enough, they'll go shopping for a new bond.
Best bond ever? we'll wait and see. Heard that one before

Re: James Bond: Skyfall
it better be good with all this hype. But the safe money is surely on a workman like action movie.
The hype probably spoils the product, tbf.
