Saw this at a half full Lowry last night and really enjoyed it.

Strange to see Rupert Penry-Jones in a tiny role.

Was definately out of focus a few times - we noticed. Also thought is was going to pack up part way through as we got crackles (grit ?) and star bursts on the screen, come to think of it we had a bit of a false start at the beginning.

I complained afterwards, but was fobbed off with an excuse about a dodgy copy of the film.

It might be worth a quick email to Vue / Showfilmfirst, could be some vouchers in it for us.

Finally forced myself to write this up. For me this was one of those films where I didn't mind it much when watching it, but when it came to lasting impressions and thinking about its strengths and weaknesses, it ended up in a more negative light.

After a couple of emails to Vue I was given a £10 gift card after last weeks out of focus screening of Red Tails. Result! o/
