We better not watch this film from the O2 balcony. OH will not be able to keep his feet still, thus rocking the whole last row, LOL. You have been warned.

I still think Russell Brand has been horribly miscast as Lonny.
Why couldn't they just have given the role to Simon Lipkin? He was so brilliant!

Because we want Simon here!

I thin Russell should have been Staceey, I've seen him place gigs at the O2 as a rock god and it worked. Cruise should have tried being Lonny
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Well, they could've just filmed the stage show to make it into a movie, no need for Simon to take off time then :p

I wasn't there. But I for one wouldn't object to several extended hours of RoA filming. Besides, this is more like a concert than a stage show anyway, so the rawness of a live performance would enhance it, no need for retakes ;)

WEll the retakes are for the different angles and every thing.

But its a film based on the concept of the musical, so its going to be different We will never agree will we?

I am looking forward to the film, as being something completely different

You deserve to walk the red carpet with Cruise when its out :p

I agree with the casting swaps with Cruise and Brand. But the trailer still looks to be fun anyway. The structure will be quite different, we wont get the stage show audience interaction, nor the hilarious self awareness that they are trapped in a narrative (unless they do a Mel Brooks thang).

So I see Def Leppard is in the credits, which means they gave right to their songs this time! Wonder why they are giving rights to use their songs in the film and not the Stage show? Gonna see them at Wembley Arena tonight actually...so I'll just go up on the stage and ask them ;)
