I loved the film. I was utterly drawn into the world and convinced by the characters right from the start.
Totally different films, but like Argo one minute I was laughing away and then gripped with tension the next, as the banter stopped and they entered the next crime scene.
People have a point about the camera work, the ending and how it's not totally original, but none of this bothered me at the time - a great watch.

I thought he looked better with hair.
And the ending was predictable and not a patch on Training Day.
Its from the writers of training.
Denzel Washington was amazing in the Training Day.
LOl it was a bit more than a cut

yes it was more than a hair cut

.
He did this for Jarhead too - but I think he looked better now that he has "filled out" though.
Not seen Jar Head.

I haven't read through all of this thread, but I really hope it wasn't just me who found this film relentlessly boring from beginning to end.

You're in the minority. It was far from perfect - the camera takes getting used to, and the bad guys were simply terrible, but boring it was not.

The lack of plot and horrid camera work did indeed make it very boring.

7/10 from me...found the camera a bit annoying! Although i did enjoy this film, the two leads were funny & really worked well together.
Preferred cinemas: Any in Edinburgh!

We both shared the same opinions about last night's films. That's rare for me.
