Saw this yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it( possibly due to the utter crapness of Bullet to the Head) so im basing my opinion as biased!
However, I think it was very enjoyable, funny, and quirky, may be a dvd b*y for me.

Smart, entertaining, interesting, tells a complete story in one feature film's length, and jabs at well worn genre tropes incredibly well without steering solely into them. Nice comedy, romance, ideas, action beats, all round a darn good film well made. And always nice to see Corddry on the screen.

The main thing is just to disband any sense of reality and just go with it. Yes, it's unbelievable but so are lots of other things we watch . . . they are for entertainment and that is what I got. I loved the soundtrack which really added to the overall experience.
Would I watch it again? . . . proabably not.
Would I have pa*d to see? . . . certainly not!
But, marks 7/10 so enjoyable enough!
It's about Zombies, how real do you expect it to be? :bwl:

8O You mean they are not real???????? :bwl:

I think I wrote this in response to a review by c_t where there was a list in the spoiler including how could zombies come back to life and other such issues.

The way in which they come back to life is what I love most about the film. A novel take on the whole Zombie genre.

My Daughter went too see Warm Bodies with Her Mate at Greenwich Odeon last night. They both would give the film 5/5. Excellent film.
Only annoying thing was that a group of 10 Boys came into screening room half way through making a load of noise. When a very emotional part of the film was on.
Everyone told them too shut up which thankfully they did without backchat.
I assume they came out of another film that ended and gatecrashed Warm Bodies.

Saw this at a free screening last week and found the film enjoyable but don't see it being a hit. It was funny and easy to watch. A teenager chick flick. I don't see a zombie genre taking off like vampires did. Zombies just don't have the same appeal!

But being morbid, maybe the Zombie genre will appeal more to older viewers, since the theme is closer to home than teen romance?!

It all comes down to whether you can stand the idea of a zombie falling in love. If you can stomach that, Warm Bodies should be a winner and you might give it four stars. If on the other hand, zombies with feelings fill you with rage like one of the 28 Days Later infected, you’ll be running for the exit of the cinema and vomiting blood before the film gets a chance to win you over. I didn't think it was bad at all; it just takes serious liberties with a well-loved sub-genre.

Saw this two weeks ago as Slackers Club on late night Thursday, 8 out of 10, well glad it was turned into a film instead of a tv series from what I heard.
