Saw this tonight at Bolton only about 1/3 full - think some people chickened out
Was`nt bad but as expected not a patch on the intensity and thrill of the original - 6.5/10

A breath of fresh air seeing a horror of this genre (as opposed to the ghost - BOO! sort) which doesn't go and ruin the mood by being more of a comedy than a chiller. It is entirely plausible from start to finish and the SFX are second to none. Even the blood looks realistic for a change cf. Insidious last week where it looked like translucent red food colouring.
My only criticism would be that it failed to introduce and characterise the cast. The 2, or was it 3? females are looked and sounded the same and became virtually indistinguisable from one another as things developed.
Poor Grandpa! Woof.
I'm really hoping that I've got the original on disc. I want to see it again soon to contrast.
All I can say is "Groovy!"
8/10
Best blood and gore horror of the year.

Saw this at Edinburgh Cineworld, two old boys(security) stood outside the door checking our bags, though they only had a quick peek in! Never had that before at the cinema! Thought this was quite good not too scary but very gory, LOL'd a couple of times too. I had a feeling something was gonna be shown after the credits rolled but left anyway...can someone put a spoiler in with what happened? 8/10
The scariest thing about going to this cineworld is the price for parking-£3.50- but my OH discovered tonight its free for cinema-goers! After all this time & money wasted going into that damn meter grrr
Preferred cinemas: Any in Edinburgh!

I loved this too. Not scary and hardly makes you jump, but some hilarious gore and black humour.
9/10
ps I too missed the post-credit scene, but it is currently on youtube...but I'd guess not for long...
