Totally agree! The acting from both lead characters was second to none!

Cardiff Cineworld was like an icebox last night! and I have decided to take a blanket with me for the next film there to make a sarcastic point! and to make a little nest for me. The cinema was about 70% full and there was 1 walk out 8O

MrGlass has totally summed it up for me and I thank him for his spoiler which gives further insight to the real story. It doesn't seem strange to me that the film found difficulty in funding, it was pointing a finger (which one, you choose) at the cosy relationship that big companies have with government bodies.

I enjoyed the performances given by McConaughey and Leto, no wonder there are nominations for this film.

Saw this last night in Edinburgh a full house. Good movie with brilliant performances from Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leno. Foun it strangely uplifting given the subject matter, brought to mind Philidelphia and Born On The Fourth Of July.

I turned up at a Cineworld with a blanket because I was sick to death of freezing my bits off and the place was packed to the rafters and the heating was on. I looked like a right pillock with my bags n stuff. :Embarrassed: :red:

Better safe than sorry, The Sparrow! And with Cineworld in particular, I've had too many bitterly cold experiences to trust them. At Crawley they have a habit, in winter, of claiming the heating has broken down, but I think it's simply inadequate. And you can see from the state of the place that they never do any maintenance.

Saw this in Dundee last night - place was packed. Wow - this film knocked my socks off. I've never been a huge MM fan; all of his performances seem to be variations on an original theme. This one, however, showed he was more than just eye-candy. Loved the way my opinion of him changed constantly throughout the film.

SO glad I saw this - thank you!!!

I wouldn't normally be bothered but with it being jam packed, I didn't even have a bag seat lol

What I find hard to believe is when I sit in one screen with perfect temperature and go to another screen where the heating isn't working!
