Re: Interstellar
I saw this in IMAX as a special treat and it was EPIC! I studied some of the subject matter at uni so I was geeking out a little bit, yet still left the cinema with my brain fried, but I loved every minute of that frying! Looking forward to seeing it again to try and get my head round it a bit more. Nolan is definitely good at making you exercise the grey matter!

Re: Interstellar
Managed to get free tickets through the BFI to see this at the BFI IMAX this morning.
I didn't love it when I saw it on its release on a normal screen last November but the chance to see the scenes specially shot on IMAX cameras the way they were supposed to be seen was too good an opportunity to pass up.
I'm glad I did. Though I still have some issues with the film, especially in its last half hour, the IMAX shots (over an hours worth) are really breathtaking. Whether it's the scenes on the farm or in space, they look really impressive.
It may not be Nolan's finest hour but he certainly knows how to get the best out of those IMAX cameras (with the help of Hoyte Van Hoytema of course).

Re: Interstellar
I really really regret not seeing this in IMAX or even in the standard cinema, such a epic movie, a complete mind f**k but in a good way!
If you haven't seen it yet don't be put off but the length, its well worth your time!
Much Love

Re: Interstellar
I wish I had seen this at the Imax because I thought this was just an OK film. Also didn't like Matt Damon's character, it was all a bit predictable.

Re: Interstellar
saw again at the Propstore BFI IMAX, which did so much justice to the scale of the movie showed. Mindblowing - the Mountain waves in particular! I dont think I have seen such things in a movie before, and doubt I will ever again.
Minor quibble about the slightly too happy ending, apparently the original script was for a failed, miserable ending but I think that would have been too much as well.
Left the cinema on a day long floaty high.
