Oh of Course, he was in Home and Away or Neighbors. I thought he was South African cos I could hear some twangs in certain words
Clearly we do not have many old-school Home and Away fans on FMUK! - come on everybody, the actor used to play Nick in H&A - you know Hayley and Will's brother? They used to live with Irene and he was a right troublemaker in the beginning...(do we have any tumbleweed smilies? :D ). Ok, I will stop now, revealing too much of my old love for Australian soaps. Don't get much of a chance to see them now, miss my student days...

Sorry don't mean to go off topic, but I have noticed that several ex Australian soap stars, particularly those who used to be on Home and Away have started to feature prominently (or less prominently) in Hollywood films / TV. Maybe it is a lucky coincidence that they are all moving over and managing to get work but I think that there must be a specific agent who is helping them make the leap across. I wonder if they show H&A on US TV.

Indeed. Although it's probably 'Neighbours' Alan Dale (Jim Robinson) who seems to pop up the most these days. Although Ryan Kwanten who played Vinnie in H&A is fantastic in True Blood.

I have nothing against Australian actors, I just wish they wouldn't pass themselves off as British!

Yes the old favourite Jim Robinson, aka Alan Dale was on everything for a while. Often playing the same type of character, rich, powerful patriarch with a villainous streak (The OC, Lost, Ugly Betty). They must think he has the look!

Yeah there is Vinne (looks so different in True Blood compared to early days!), also the guy that played Kim in H&A, the girl that played Tasha and I even saw the actor who played Tasha's boyfriend Robbie on an episode of Power Rangers (things have obviously not worked as well for him :D ) And I was just channel hopping when I saw him on Power Rangers, I'm not a secret fan :shifty:

Oh and I just saw an advert for Letters to Juliet (just to bring it back on topic!) - looks so cheesy and not the cheesy goodness that I like! Will not be wasting any money on it. I'll wait for it to come on channel 5 as the afternoon movie (ok was that a bit harsh??) and we'll have a good chat about it in 3 years.

Agree with earlier posts - lovely scenery! I was already thinking about booking some Ryanair flights to Verona while still watching the movie. Didn't like Charlie, I would prefer Victor over him, I suppose, was impressed by Lorenzo (the "end result" one) was totally worth looking for!
