I went to see 'We Will Rock You' last night at the Sunderland Empire - the place was rocking all right. What a marvellous show. :D I feel quite hoarse now as we were singing and clapping and stamping our feet. The cast were fabulous singers and dancers, as you would expect, and there were some very funny topical jokes - it's refreshing that parts of the script can evolve to encompass the modern culture, with references to Big Brother, the X-Factor, and so on.
If you haven't seen this show, I recommend that you do.

I feel strange this morning - no film to go to! There is Sunshine Cleaning over at the Picturehouse Greenwich but obviously I have seen this already, and it's not good enough to watch twice. But even though.... I feel restless!

Pleased to hear that We Will Rock You was a great show. My friend and I have b*ght tickets for it when it comes to Edinburgh in December. Looking forward to it.

Couldn't get my old avatar back so gone for a new one. Don't like my Biggins name but I can't think of a new one and scared to ask friends to suggest one as I wouldn't like to hear what it might be!!! Christopher Biggins was on the TV when I joined this forum so have used this for a while now although I should have gone for a female one. Why did you want to change from Tommy to a_person?

i went to we will rock you too (on thurs) but i have had to send a complaint to the theatre as i took my wheelchair bound dad and everyone stood up for the last 15 mins or so (quite understandable) but the stupid theate had put him on the far left of the stalls so he couldn't see anything. wouldn't you have thought that they would've had the sense to put wheelchair users at the front?
