Re: Life as We Know It
It was all so oh so predictable and familiar, but I am a sucker for rom-coms, but this isn't one of Katherine Heigl's better ones, nevertheless nice easy viewing 6.5/10

Trocadero Cineworld: There were two "minders" at the 6.30 screening yesterday. They did not take any phones but just told people to make sure their phones were switched off. I was aware of some patrolling up and down the aisles - I guess they were watching the audience to ensure no one was filming.

Harsh reviews so far!!!
I'm a big sucker for a rom com & I really enjoyed it. Yes it's predictable, but I thought it was funny & it really had me in tears! I'd give it a 7/10

Re: Life as We Know It
Saw this last night thanks to prettyxcool and quite enjoyed it.
It had some funny bits and was very easy to watch. Only minor criticism was that there were a few too many "look at the leading man holding the cute baby" shots, a la George Clooney when he was in ER lol. 7/10

Re: Life as We Know It
Saw this at a pretty packed covent garden.
The film was ok, parts of it were funny and other parts were heartwarming.
Thought it was a tad long, they could have cut it by 20 minutes.
Sophie was very cute though! 6/10

Re: Life as We Know It
just as we were settling down to watch this I finally fessed up to boyf that this was indeed another rom-com, and you should've seen his face when I told him the lead was the same woman in his all time most hated film 27 dresses, oh how I laughed. Anyway not being a rom-commer myself either I didn't mind this too much, predictable yes, but there were a few laughs and a cute baby and oh swoon what an easy on the eye male lead. V packed cinema and a large queue for the second sitting on our way out. 6.5/10

Re: Life as We Know It
Whiteleys was packed tonight which made for a good atmosphere, plenty of people laughing including me. I thought it was overlong, you could cut the predictable running to the airport storyline and make it a tight 90 mins. The leads were good together - I'm a sucker for Josh (must dig out my Tad Hamilton DVD
) However the star was Sophie, and I'm not normally a baby person.
7/10
